Why is purity ring not a cure for cancer?
It’s been more than a decade since a Canadian medical device company announced it would be the first to develop a “purity ring” that could help prevent the spread of cancer.
Now, more than 100 years later, the company, Pure Vision, has announced it will soon be producing its first product, the Pure Purity Ring.
The device, which is being billed as the first FDA-approved cancer treatment that will help patients recover faster from cancerous tumors, was revealed during a panel discussion hosted by the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) on Thursday.
The panel discussion was part of the CCS’s Cancer Prevention Month and included scientists from Pure Vision and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), who will be presenting data on the product’s clinical trials later this month.
It’s important to note that this device has not yet been tested on humans.
It has not been approved by any of the FDA regulatory agencies and is still undergoing clinical testing, according to the CCs website.
Purity ring is made of carbon nanotubes (cNTs), which are tiny particles that can absorb and release electrons.
The technology is not new, but the company has been developing a version that could be applied to human cells for the past several years.
The main difference between the Pure Vision device and the original Pure Vision product is that it uses nanotechnology, a method that combines two materials together to form a single, functional material.
It is a form of molecular mimicry, meaning that it does not mimic the structure of a biological protein but instead mimics its properties.
This allows it to bind to and destroy the cancer cells in an animal model, as well as the human body.
While this is a step forward, it does mean that the device still needs more testing and testing to be sure it will work in humans.
In addition, the device can only be used for a short period of time before it has to be removed.
“We’re doing tests on animals to see how well it’s working and to see if it works in humans,” said co-founder and CEO Michael Smith.
The Pure Vision team is now working on a clinical trial to test whether it is safe for people, and how well they respond to it.
According to Smith, the results of that study should be ready in two to three months.
“This is the first step, but it’s not the last step,” Smith said.
“There are many steps that we have to take to make sure we can be a leader in the cancer treatment industry, which I think is really important, as it’s really a time when the technology is starting to get better,” he said.

They allow cancer cells to be captured in a laboratory environment and transported to the patient.

Smith says the Pure Ring will be the most expensive cancer treatment to date.
But the device is not entirely new.

“If we could make it work for one in 100 patients who have cancer, that would be an enormous step forward for people,” Smith added.
“It would be a huge step forward if we could help these people who are currently going through chemotherapy or are just waiting for a new treatment.”
That would be another huge step for the industry, and we are hoping that we can make that happen,” he added.
